Thank you for your purchase. Please register your safe within 30 days. Your safe must be registered to activate any claims under warranty. It is also essential to keep your proof of purchase and serial number in a secure location outside the safe. This warranty is not transferable.
Please note that the warranty does not cover any loss or damage to contents in and or around the safe, under any circumstances. We recommend that you contact your insurance company and purchase coverage for the contents of your safe.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is for residential use only. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, as well as damage to the safe resulting from burglary attacks and fires.
Cannon Security Products, Inc. may, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective or damaged parts, or replace the entire safe. Whenever possible, we will arrange for local repair. In the event that Cannon Security Products, Inc. determines the safe needs to be returned, we will cover the return freight costs. The purchaser must ensure that the safe is emptied, packaged, palletized, and available for curb-side pickup.
If a locksmith is approved by the factory to service or open the safe the maximum coverage is $300. Labor costs for removal, reinstallation, or handling of the safe and its contents are not covered under this warranty.
Electronic and mechanical locks are covered by a five-year limited warranty. For the first year, both parts and labor are covered. For years two through five, only parts are covered, the customer is responsible shipping, handling, and labor costs. After five years, lock failures are not covered. This warranty does not cover lost or forgotten combinations, lost keys, weak or dead batteries, or improper opening procedures.
This warranty is contingent upon proper installation, use, and maintenance of the safe. Battery should be changed yearly, and safes must be kept in a climate-controlled environment. This warranty does not apply to safes or parts that have been misused, neglected, modified, or tampered with, or subjected to unusual or extreme environments. Damage caused by the use of unauthorized parts is excluded. The warranty also expressly excludes any damage to, or loss of, personal property stored inside the safe.
For claims related to burglary attacks or fire damage, customers must first file with their property insurance provider. If the claim is denied, the customer may then file proof of denial with Cannon Security Products, Inc. All claims, including those for workmanship defects or break-ins, must be filed within six months of the issue. Proof of purchase, police or fire department report (if applicable), photographs or video of the damage, and a written notarized testimonial must be provided at the time of claim.

This warranty only applies to safes located in the continental United States for residential use and purchased from an authorized Cannon Security Products, Inc. dealer. Commercial or business use is not covered. This warranty supersedes all other express warranties and assurances, including but not limited to matters of quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. Cannon Security Products, Inc. accepts no liability for any incidental or consequential damages or losses suffered by anyone as a result of using or being unable to use the safe. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
